Engineering Report – July 24th

This morning we found one of the battery cable torn off from the generator. We scavenged the cable from the new generator to make the repair. It was early in the morning, and the proper course of action might have been to put online the new generator instead of using its part, and service the old one… Anyway, the generator is working.

I will try to find the parts I need to repair the cable. The cable is cut on the basis of one its end clamp. The other end is not in good shape either.

Still as an ongoing issue. We have not dealt with the stateroom power.
