Commander Report – August 1st
Written by Alexandre Mangeot
One suited EVA today with Jon and Anushree. Paul as the shotgun.
They enjoyed a partly sunny EVA. We saw the sun after almost two weeks of clouds at best… The landscape is amazing under the sun. I will make sure one picture I took is sent this evening.
I noticed that the ground around the Hab is saturated with water. The water paddles are higher every day. I have concern about the landing strip. So in the coming days, we will have an EVA to evaluate the ground condition of the landing strip. Then next week we will do the same, and more frequently as the end mission approaches. That way will know if the situation improves or not.
