Commander Report – July 24th

The crew morale was a bit down this morning. We have not seen the sun for a longtime and we feel like it is winter out there.

Again today, there were showers during the EVA time. So the EVA crew (Jon/Anushree/Yusuke) went in out of sim excursion. They scout a second place for Shannon’s comparative study. And also test the ATV trails into the crater which are good to drive on, despite the rain.

For Yusuke’s birthday. We prepared a nice evening meal (carbonara, sort of, pasta and Indian ice cream). We found few balloons and some candles. A good intimate moment for the whole crew.
